Intermediate Ballet

Service Description

Intermediate Ballet is a progression of our ballet curriculum that allows the dancer to prepare for pointe work and Pas de Deux (partnering). Beginning around age 11, we invite serious students to take Pre-Pointe and Dance Conditioning classes as part of their ballet training. At age 12, female students are allowed to take Beginning Pointe with teacher permission as an added bonus to their ballet class. Both male and female students may begin Pas de Deux at age 12. Intermediate students take an hour-long technique class in flat shoes twice weekly, and then 15 minutes of Pre-Pointe/Beginning Pointe twice weekly and Conditioning/Pas De Deux once weekly. Students at this level are required to take two ballet classes per week. The fee for this course includes two 90 minute weekly ballet classes from September to May (excludes holiday breaks) and costume fee for our Spring Showcase. A tuition deposit of $130 and a $30 registration fee is required to enroll. We offer a $20 discount for families who prepay the year in full, as well as three payment plans (monthly, quarterly, semi-annually).
